depends on whether its members can realize this danger,

sacrifice themselves and maintain their unity or not. Our

Kuomintang has its tenets for the unanimous belief of its members, its policy for their unanimous observance

and its constitution and discipline for their unanimous

control. All loyal and true members of our Kuomintang

believe in the principles enunciated in the "Three Aspects of Democracy" and work hard for the revolution in accord-

ance with the doctrines of Sun Man, and are united in thought, spirit, and action. They form a single unit and there is no room for divisions among them into Leftists or Rightists, Extremists or Moderates. The invention.

of false denominations and distinctions into Rightists

and Leftists is a device of the Communists to set up

dissension among our members of the Kuomintang, and a

mischievous scheme to destroy us. They have used the

influence of A to overthrow B and A's faction to over-

throw B's faction. This is what Mr. Ng Tsz Fai called the "Palm-leaf Fan" Policy. They mean well neither to this party nor to that, but aim at the overthrow and the destruction of the influence of both. Though they should not overthrow all parties at once, yet their method in each case will be the same. Since the declaration of hostility between the two parties, on our side of the fighting line are the members of our Kuomintang and on the other side those of the Communist Party. If we fail to wake up and work hard as one man at this critical moment, but allow on the contrary distinctions to be made in our ranks, we are destined to suffer defeat, when the

factions of A and B successively destroyed and their
